My current professional focus is on innovative ways of improving teaching and learning at Pitt. I am particularly interested in how we learn from visuals and multimedia.

Previously, as an MITx Digital Learning Lab Fellow in the MIT Department of Biology, I worked with a small team to bring the best of research-based digital learning to our students, and to learners all over the world. We collaborated with professors to augment on-campus biology courses, as well as to develop and implement Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) on a global scale. My speciality within the team was creating and curating the graphics, animations, and video for these projects.
